We are not delivering into the CBD from somewhere else - we are in it. Kamundia Butchery has traded from Stall 55 on the ground floor of City Market, Muindi Mbingu Street, since 1959.

Kamundia Butchery works from a single stall - Stall 55, ground floor, City Market, Muindi Mbingu Street - and has since 1959. We are not a chain with a branch near you. Everything is cut in one place, by the same butchers, from carcasses hanging in our own cold room, and then driven out to you.
That is deliberate, and it is the reason we can do what we do. A single block means a single standard. It means the person who cuts your sirloin has been cutting sirloin here for years, and that when you ask for it at four centimetres you get it at four centimetres. A chain of branches cannot promise that; one stall can.
What it means practically is that distance from City Market is the main thing that shapes your delivery. Parklands is three kilometres away and often within the hour. Karen is seventeen and wants a day's notice. Everything in between is comfortably same-day if you order before 4:00pm.
